However, it's important to note that we maintain a selective admission policy, as pets that struggle with socializing may not be suited for our environment. A friendly demeanor is essential. We make it a point to familiarize ourselves with every pet's individual needs and preferences. Our approach is particularly gentle with pets that may be shy, scared, or anxious, employing strategies to help them feel at ease.
Whether it's through engaging them in smaller playgroups or providing personalized attention during solo playtime with our staff, we cater to the diverse temperaments of our furry guests as long as they are comfortable with our staff.

What To Pack
May River Pet Resort wants your pet to have the best experience possible. We understand that it may be stressful for your pet to be away from home. We encourage you to bring a favorite blanket or toy and their favorite snack. Please don't bring bowls, we have plenty!
Every boarder will have a comfortable Kuranda dog ded and a sherpa topper included with their stay. If your pet is "picky" or requires a special diet, please bring enough food portioned for their whole stay. We have refrigerators and microwaves, to accommodate most meals. Our staff can administer most medications, we do not administer insulin at this time. Please label everything you bring, with your pet's name and detailed instructions.
